When in doubt there’s always Gunnar

After not playing an actual game last weekend, just messing about with something (but more on that in a bit), I realised that I have a lot of different stuff on the go and therefore a lot to choose from.  Too much in fact!

Guards of Traitor’s Toll is now on pre-release!  You can find the bundles and a free pdf overview of the game here - https://greyfornow.com/collections/guards-of-traitors-toll.  So nothing more to do there, but I really must complete those buildings.

I’ve just finished the last of the character sets for my Very Sharpe Silver Bayonet (here’s the main pose of the 8 of them, all the sets are now on the page).  I have also done enough figures to play the first solo mission in the book (again on the TVSSB page) and here’s some of the wolves. However, I suddenly found myself not wanting to dive into a new ruleset.

I’ve done more skeletons and nearly have all the cavalry finished.  Not that it matters as I have already rolled up the next campaign turn and it will be against the Reptile army anyway.  However Ivan hasn’t done the reptile special rules yet, and I was planning to wait until Ivan finishes the spell casting rules before carrying on, so not feeling that right now.

Then, over the past few weeks I have actually been taking a crack at an expanded version of 5 Klicks from the Zone.  I’ve turned in the finished draft to Ivan and started playtesting the campaign rules to a point where I need to get a battle on the table, but again, not quite in the mood.  Plus I would have to play with proxy figures and while that is something that comes up a lot with playtesting, while I have a cunning plan for the SAS figures from 0200 Hours, which I only built this morning.

Then it hit me.  Gunnar and the crew from Five Leagues from the Borderland had the next two turns all queued up and ready to go!  So Turn 31 was played today, and Turn 32 is all set for tomorrow.  Now I feel great.
