Mauled by a Lynx attack
I haven’t been playing Guild of Adventurers because I’m getting a Fantasy fix from Enemies at the Borders, but this week I played game 5. I rolled beast pack as the Adversaries and was a little disappointed, I mean six beasts wasn’t going to be much of a challenge, was it? Well spoiler alert (the whole game is on the page) as you can see from the photo two of my heroes were mauled by the giant lynx that were attracted by the smell of their breakfast. So it was a really fun game after all, and with two heroes out of action and the only available recruit being a young inexperienced shooter, the next game will have no dedicated fighters and only five in the party. Oh and it’s a special game too! Stay tuned!
Meanwhile on the painting front I made great progress through last week’s WIP. Another bunch of the Foundry Wild West stuff done, including a fire and brimstone preacher, the saloon barman, and the madam from the saloon, all who can Join the Posse.
Then there is the single sprue of Wargames Atlantic female survivours which will add 2 Bystanders, 2 Collectors, and 2 Luchadores to the existing groups.
Plus, of course, some more Cromarty 10mm, this time finishing off the remaining stand to complete two units of Undead (completed units are on the page).
This then gives me a new set of WIP
Publishing wise, The Wardens of History is done and will be released next Friday. Currently the updated Call Security! is on sale and there’s a SF bundle with that and We need your best squad at a further reduction, as I chase the target of 50 sales to get a WV Bronze level rating. As soon as Ivan told me that less than 75% of the games on WV reach that level, my hear has been set on it, would be great to get there before the first anniversary of the release.
I’ve also completed all the new look covers, here are the photos:
That’s it for this week then, thanks for reading, Dean
