It’s real!
Table setup for a game of Call Security. All Adversaries start as Markers. This Incident has some Bystanders. The Security Team rolled one Officer starting at a different Entry Point, and a roll of 10 had one Officer who just happened to be in the right place already.
Violet Flash - Turn 1
Word came in that some new type of ‘recreational’ drug is turning people violent In the Crew Quarters. We arrived at the scene an immediately spotted a guy waving a pistol around. These slug thrower weapons breach our security checks much too easily. The character was waving it around and there were innocent civilians around so we opened up on him. It took all four of us to bring him down! Then another appeared out of nowhere! Meanwhile the bystanders started towards a number of us, demanding we “do something!”, while couple just hit the deck.Turn 2
We opened up on the second guy but I swear we hit him at least three times and he was still standing. Thankfully he hadn’t properly maintained his weapon and it jammed, but the bystander then ran right towards us. Meanwhile at the other end of the section I could see lots of milling about and Jimmy called to say the though one of the Bystanders was down and another amped up crew member with a gun had appeared.
Turn 3
Jimmy was in trouble, his blaster was out of juice, some armoury guy would catch hell for that later! Harrison was up there with him but had his own problems as he spotted a guy with a rifle. I heard the first shot and warned him that wounds seemed to be taking little effect on thee guys, and commanded him to go for a more telling shot. He took my advice and shot the guy in the head! Only to spot another one further down the corridor. I switched my attention back to Jimmy who was still standing their in the open! I was about to chew him out when he reported that the target had rushed right past him and out of the section, I guess we’ll need to go find her later. Meanwhile Becca had taken out the guy infront of us and we were ready to hunt down any further trouble.
Turn 4
Harrison and his new target traded shots and he took a wound while failing to even hit back, while Jimmy could only look on, cursing his useless weapon. Becca headed towards them while the other guys cleared corridors, Carnecki even thought he’d found another guy, but it was a false alarm and Station Central declared all the other rroms and corridors unoccupied. Sadly it turned out that one of the hapless bystanders had caught a stray round though.
Turn 5
Harrison finally stopped messing around and plugged the last affected crew member. I called in to base to get a bead on that one that bolted, but apparently they had run into the Souk screaming and passed out.
As we headed back to the Security Office though, I couldn’t help thinking the locals seem particularly rowdy, is something going on?
