Wagons Roll!

No gaming to talk about this week, as in yes I did ‘play’ but I can’t talk about it. However I still got some painting in too, including finishing off these three Cromarty Forge 10mm carts that will appear in any Supply Line battles. I also did another farmland tile and the last two open tiles, so that’s 10 out of 28 done.

I also did these:

I am sad to say I’ve now met a plastic kit I don’t like. As there are now six units based on Frostrgave Cultists in my Isolationists army for After the Calamity, I wanted something a bit different for their highest quality units. So I went with the Raumjager, sold by Wargames Atlantic. Unfortunately, try as I might, I could get no enjoyment out of them. They are chunky, lacking in personality, and short on customisation. Once I glued them up I couldn’t wait to get them finished and couldn’t be bothered to put in much effort. I will enjoy my Community fighters killing these guys!

It’s okay though, as you can see from the work in progress I’ve got the final unit of cultists to do and I’m then switching over to the next ‘faction’ which are the Nomads who will all be hooded but  will still have a lot of variation to identify the units, this first unit is using Oathmark Heavy Human bodies, Light Human heads, and Stargrave arms.

First though, I really must finish those few Wild West figures and the three weird horrors at the back! Oh and there’s just one last bit of the Fish Market to do!

If you are in the UK, I hope you made the most of the glorious weather and another bank holiday weekend.

All the best, Dean.
