Test of Honour

Test of Honour is a Grey for Now game based in feudal Japan and as you might have noticed by now I can't do that without having a story in mind. I also don't do "historical" so this is something I've made up.

In 1587 Toyotomi Hideyoshi led a huge force to subdue the southern Japanese island of Kyushu, which prompted the Yamabushi monks in the area around Mount Hiko (Hikosan) to rebel against the ruling Shimazu clan (who were seen to be supporting the influx of Jesuit priests), while also signalling support for Hideyoshi's desire for a unified Japan. This led to a number of small skirmishes between the monks and their allies, and the local garrisons.

I'm easing into this gently and I've started with some groups of Ashigaru followers, all metals from the Grey for Now Samurai Warband bundle:
