What’s left in 2025?
It may seem a little quiet in terms of posts but there’s plenty going on, and as we are already half way through November, I decided to take stock and see what else I want to achieve before the end of 2025. As I’ve been talking about wargaming being a five-in-one hobby for me, I’ll list it out in those terms:
Publishing - The Guild of Adventurers is actually finished but I really want to space out the releases a bit, so I’ll publish on 3rd December as the last release this year. But I will also be working on the SF edition through December to be ready for release in January.
Gaming - I’ve decided that I want to close out one campaign before the end of the year, so will be concentrating on Protect and Survive as I only have 5 games left to play for that one. It probably means no more Pirates or Guild games though, as I also want to fit in another Guards of Traitor’s Toll game, and I need to keep play-testing the rules for my ‘Military Campaign’ series that is the bigger, 40+ figures per side, campaign system.
Painting - on the paint station right now are 12 Hoplites (for a mate), 15 Frostrgrave Cultist conversions to SF badguys (for We need your best squad) and 8 hyenas (for my Gnoll army).
Collecting - the paining list will be joined over the next few weeks by the figures I have coming to complete the five armies I will be using in my fantasy campaign with the new bigger battles rules; 6 wraiths (for my Undead army), the last few Gnolls (to complete the units in my Gnoll army, which I’ve been working on over the past month but still has holes in it), two more units for my Reptile army, and the new Heavy Humans to complete the Human army at the centre of the campaign. Yes I know that’s only four armies, but I can already field everything I need for the Orc army.
Modelling - I really really want to get back to the space station tiles, as I want to start a Call Security campaign in the new year.
