Wizards
The Guild of Adventurers not only has 10 different power sources for the Magic User Party members but two of the Hero options are also Wizards, and the Adversaries have another couple of types. So I thought it would be fun to see how to encompass that with figures. So I got one sprue of the Frostgrave Wizards (North Star by way of Wargames Emporium) and had a play.
From left to right then; a sorcerer of Temporal magic, a Firestarter, the Warrior Mage hero type (my take on Lythande of the Blue Star), and of course a Necromancer.
The focus for the next little while we be on playtesting some of the special rules from the Story Arcs, so ahead of that I got in Mission 3 of Guards of Traitor’s Toll, and Game 10 of Protect and Survive, both written up in the relevant pages.
Meanwhile on the workbench are more Gnolls to finish an army for Protect the Kingdom, and a set of Adversaries for WNYBS. I also have a few Wraiths on the way to fill out my undead army for Protect, leaving just a couple of units for the Reptiles and the arrival of the North Star Heavy Humans to do and have me all ready to start a full campaign of Protect at Christmas.
