Damn but they are small
Here’s my first attempts at 10mm scale, the start of the Narnian army using Cromarty Forge Numidians as the human contingent (their poses riding bareback and no reins fits my vision for Narnian cavalry on intelligent horses).
I need to figure out how I want to decorate the bases (40x20mm Wargame Atlantic with two mini magnets in the base). The foot is currently two bases and the plan is that a unit will be four bases.
I think they’ll do, so it’s worth carrying on with the project.
Meanwhile though, more Protect the Kingdom.
I gave the 40 scenarios a polish yesterday and will now take another look at the special units for the different races, but things seem to be shaping up well.

You are braver than I to attempt 10mm...haha! I have painted some very small "28mm" and the occasional 15mm in the last couple years. Every time I do, though, it makes me re-commit to 28mm scale.
ReplyDeleteI find doing a ‘uniform’ unit at 28mm bores me, hence all the very different looking figures, but at 10mm the challenge is dealing with the size and not over complicating things, so I think I’ll be okay, time will tell. I have plenty of 28s lined up so can have both on the go at the same time and pick what I feel like each time I sit down for a session.
