A flying horse you say?
I played my first real game of The Wardens of History this week, you can find out how it went here - https://horrendousgaming.blogspot.com/p/the-wardens-of-history.html - but as I intended it’s a fun excuse to table whatever I want, so I imagine I’ll keep fitting in more games over the next few months.
I also got game 9 of my Enemies at the Borders campaign played, which was a good win for my Realm of Grosmorne, and now I’m itching to play the last three and see what happens!
So I’m pretty happy with the playing side of things, and as expected some stuff did make it of tge painting table this week too, firstly the last three mounted young bloods, and then six stands of 10mm undead that gave me another two fully finished units, the wraiths and the ghouls.
The last stand for the zombies are close too, as you might just be able to see here, along with all the rest of the current in progress.
This week it has been the writing front that has little tangible progress as I’m rather ahead of schedule and am resisting the urge to release things out of the order I originally had planned. So instead I ended up do a bunch of layout changes, which I think were worth doing, but of course didn’t actually deliver much that was actually new.
Oh and I also found myself starting to post stuff on Reddit, which I suspect doesn’t have a lot of overlap with Facebook (where I have a very slowly growing group), or the Lead Adventure Forum (where I have been posting since I rejoined the hobby and is a very nurturing place for all types of miniature gamers), or BoardGameGeek (where I add to the general fun of a gang of solo players talking about what they’ve played each month), or indeed this blog, but if you are seeing the same stuff in multiple places now I can only apologise and note that this blog is the only place the full game reports are available, or is laid out in any sensible way if you are looking for stuff on a particular game or genre.
Anyway, enough waffle, until next week that is, Dean.
