Taking Stock

Back in January I did a post talking about the four projects I wanted to progress and as I haven’t actually finished painting any figures since the last update, I thought it might be fun to review tge progress.

First up is the reason why not much figure painting got done. I had promised myself I’d go back to working on the space station for Call Security! and now I’ve got enough done to actually start using it. So I’ve started a campaign and you can find it here -  https://horrendousgaming.blogspot.com/p/call-security.html

The plan is that as I uncover extra things I need, I’ll make them, and that will drive the progress.

The other really big project is of course the 10mm stuff, and I’ll be starting the terrain boards for that next month, but here’s where I am on the units. By the time I have terrain I’ll have enough painted to get a game together.

Then there is the Foundry Wild West figures project. You will have seen progress on this every week, but it’s coming together and you can see between the box shot and my current work in progress that I should be finished soon.

The fourth project was for my Time Travel game, and while I did get the team done and played a game, I haven’t been focussing on it. It’s there nagging at me to get a campaign going, but I haven’t finished the pirates or the fantasy ones yet and have start the new space station one, so I need to ignore it if I can. Anyway, I don’t have time to paint more figures specifically for it right now as I want to do some more post apocalypse stuff.

What I can’t ignore is how fun playing Enemies at the Borders is, I’m up to game 9 and am itching to play it through.

So there we are, great progress on three projects, and a realistic rethinking on the fourth.  Meanwhile here’s the painting progress, so I’ll definitely have finished stuff to show next week.
